Brainstorm 1: Faux Selfies

I decided to start forming my alter ego by imagining different atmospheres and worlds that I could jump into and be inspired by. I personally spend a lot of time playing MMOs and immersing myself in their fantasy worlds. Over the years I have ended up developing my own "alter ego" through how I create my characters. I refer to them as another version of me through her own person in the video game.

I picked the "alter" that I have most recently interacted with (as I've been playing Mabinogi recently and she has been on my mind). Because she is like me, there is some similarity between us. But, I imagine her as living the life that I would wish to live if I existed in Erinn. She originated from the internet, so I envision her to have a specific style of typing, like people would have a specific accent or personality in their voice.

To gather images, I will include screenshots of her from the game, photos of me, and various photos from Google. I will probably use Google to mostly pick red themed transparent images to overlay on the top. I think it would be super fun to create an actual selfie-posed image or two with her best friend. As well as other images of her adventuring, doing magic, cooking, shopping/being stylish, and indulging in sweets!

I envision her to be...

- Completely carefree: (with an occasional side of irresponsibility that comes as a side effect of not caring) She has the ability to live in a fantasy world where nothing should bother her, I felt like she deserves to be completely destressed.

- Loyal: because she is part cat, I decided to recognize the cat parts in her and try to use those to fill out her personality. Once she gets to know you, she will be there for you and loyal to you in battle! (Just like how cats commonly need to build a relationship before they can fully trust you). She's there for you when you need her and would bring you freshly baked cookies. You can confide in her.

- Magical: I mean, she's a mage. She studies her spells diligently and is quick in battle! I imagine her magic to be sparkly and red, to match her entire theme. I specifically referenced the spell Fireball from the game (in the book section) because I envision her to be a master of fire magic. She knows fireball, meteor strike, you name it.

- Cute themed things (sparkles, gems, cuddly animals, stuffed animals, etc.)

- Cat themed things

- References to Mabinogi

- ...And more!
